Instructor(s):
Tim Nolan, GISP, CGCIO, Applications Manager, Collin County, McKinney, TXMany of us love games in our youth. As we got older, we stopped playing as much as we used to. Why did we stop playing? We learned through games in our earlier years. We can continue to learn through games now.
Games can an excellent way to accelerate creative work and understand problems. In this hands-on workshop, we will use games as a method to make your work more effective. Plus, we will have fun doing it.
We will cover techniques to visualize your work and limiting your work-in-progress. We will conduct games that will teach us ways to rethink how we approach problems. We will even demonstrate the misconception of multitasking.
Learning Objective 1: Will learn personal management and prioritization
Learning Objective 2: Learn/Facilitate effectiveness through games
Skills: You will be able to facilitate the games and techniques in your own work environment learned in the workshop. You will have skills to help prioritize and visualize your work as well as establishing flow.
Important Note: We will be using Miro for this workshop. Please go to the Miro Academy and take the
