Xan Fredericks works with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) as the National Map Liaison to Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands for the National Geospatial Program User Engagement Office. She collaborates with a variety of partners to aid the discovery and coordination of geospatial data, as well as the delivery of actionable, science-based information to resource managers, emergency responders, and the public. Xan is the Chair of the USGS Lidar User Group, Deputy Chair of the USGS Geospatial Information Response Team, Co-Chair of the ASPRS Bathymetry Working Group, and a GISCI-certified GIS Professional. She serves as an outgoing Director on the URISA Board and as the Past President of the Florida ASPRS.
