Doug retired as GIS Program Manager for Baltimore County, Maryland’s Department of Public Works and Transportation in 2021.  Doug is currently working part-time as a Senior Lead GIS Specialist for the Maryland Environmental Service. He has almost 40 years of experience in the geospatial industry. Doug is URISA’s representative to the Homeland Security Foundation-Level Data (HIFLD) Committee. Doug holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in geography and environmental planning from Towson University.
