Eric Frederick is the vice president for community affairs for Connected Nation, a community technology planning expert, and sought-after speaker on issues of community development and broadband. Eric earned his bachelor’s in planning from Northern Michigan University and his Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from Michigan State University. During his time with Connected Nation, Eric has advised the Federal Communications Commission, White House Broadband Opportunities Council, the Department of Commerce, and the Malaysia Digital Economic Corporation. Eric also serves as the co-chair of the American Planning Association’s Technology Division Digital Equity Taskforce and on American Planning Association’s Education Committee.
