Rachael is an engineer with the City of Alexandria, Virginia’s Department of Transportation and Environmental Services. As the City’s Stormwater Utility Manager, she has led cross-departmental teams in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to billing and credits. Her decade of experience includes 9 years in the private sector performing engineering design and management of environmental, LEED, and water resources projects. She has a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Natural Resources from Virginia Tech Center for Leadership in Global Sustainability.
